Ember Keeper (the “App”, the “Game”) is a one-touch idle lantern-keeping game developed by Birkin Apps (“we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains our approach to your data. The short version: Ember Keeper does not collect any data at all.
None. The App has no server of ours to talk to and sends us nothing. Even offline progress (light accrued while the app is closed) is computed entirely on your device from the time of your last session — no clock service or network call is involved.
Your settings (such as language and sound) and your game state (lantern rank, embers, skills, prestige progress) are stored locally on your device using shared_preferences. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the App deletes it.
Ember Keeper shows no advertisements and performs no tracking of any kind. It does not use your device’s advertising identifier, so no App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt is needed on iOS.
The App integrates no third-party data services. Downloading the App is handled by the app store you obtained it from (Apple App Store or Google Play), under that store’s own privacy policy.
Because the App collects no data and shows no ads, it is safe for players of all ages, consistent with COPPA and GDPR-K.
Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or sell. You can erase all local game data at any time by uninstalling the App.
Consistent with Apple’s App Privacy and Google Play’s Data Safety sections, Ember Keeper is declared as: Data Not Collected.
If a future update ever changes this (for example, by adding optional rewarded ads or purchases), we will update this Policy first and reflect it in the “Last updated” date and in the store disclosures.
