Privacy Policy — Territory

Territory (the “App”, the “Game”) is an arcade territory-capture game developed by Birkin Apps (“we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, why, and your choices. Territory does not require an account — play is anonymous.

Summary

• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or health data.
• No account, no social login, no analytics service, and no cloud sync.
• Your scores, progress, and settings are stored only on your device.
• The only data that leaves your device relates to ads: an advertising ID is used to show and measure ads via Google AdMob (this counts as “tracking”).

Data we collect and why

1. Device identifier / advertising ID

On iOS, your IDFA is used only if you grant permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT). On Android, your Advertising ID (GAID) is used. Purpose: to serve and measure ads through Google AdMob. This is considered tracking.

2. On-device settings & progress

Your best scores, unlocks, and preferences (language, sound, etc.) are stored locally on your device using shared_preferences. This data is never transmitted to us and never leaves the device.

Data we do NOT collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or health data. There is no social login, no user account, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no cloud database. The Game has no in-app purchases, so no purchase data is processed either.

Third parties (sub-processors)

• Google — AdMob (ads). Privacy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple — App Store. Privacy: apple.com/legal/privacy

Advertising/measurement domains used: googleadservices.com, doubleclick.net, googlesyndication.com.

Your choices & rights

• App Tracking Transparency (iOS): you may decline tracking when prompted. The game works fully without it — you will simply see non-personalized ads.
• Ad personalization: you can reset or limit your advertising ID in device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Google → Ads). Where required, a consent prompt (Google UMP) lets you manage personalized ads.
• GDPR (EEA/UK) and CCPA/CPRA (California): you have rights to access, delete, and object to processing. Since we run no server and hold no user database, the only relevant processing is ad serving by Google; you can exercise choices through the consent prompt and device settings, or contact us below.

Data deletion

All game data is stored locally, so uninstalling the App deletes it. For questions about ad data held by Google, see Google’s privacy controls, or email support@birkinapps.com.

Children

Territory is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If a user is under 13 (or the applicable age in your region), advertising will not be personalized, in line with COPPA and GDPR-K.

Store privacy disclosures

Consistent with Apple’s App Privacy and Google Play’s Data Safety, we declare: Device ID (advertising; used for tracking). No other data is collected.

Changes

We may update this Policy; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest version.
